Qonda Monitor is developed and operated by Ope Ltd, a New Zealand company. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
When you install and run the on-premise edition of Qonda Monitor, all monitoring data — including host metrics, service health, logs, and configuration — is stored entirely on your own infrastructure. Ope Ltd has no access to this data and none of it is transmitted to us.
The only interaction with Ope Ltd's systems from an on-premise installation is the optional software update check, which contacts our update server to retrieve version information. No identifying information about your installation or hosts is sent during this check.
If you use the SaaS (hosted) edition, your monitoring data is stored on servers operated by Ope Ltd. This includes host metrics, service health history, alert configurations, and user account details.
We use this data solely to provide the service to you. We do not sell, share, or disclose your monitoring data to third parties except as required by law or to provide the service (for example, using a cloud infrastructure provider to host the servers).
You can export or delete your data at any time by contacting us. On cancellation of a SaaS subscription, your data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted unless you request earlier deletion.
When you submit the contact form on this website, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.
This website does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics services. No data about your visit is shared with advertising networks.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, unauthorised access, use, or disclosure. SaaS data is stored on servers with access controls and encrypted storage. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
